Selection Criteria

A large public school district required a custom monitoring solution that would pull together data from across the desktop environment to create a comprehensive look at desktop performance. Stratusphere UX was chosen because it had deep detailed data metrics and a API Builder for building custom RESTful API queries for data that could be exported in JSON or CSV formats.

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

Utilizing Stratusphere UX as a powerful engine, a Liquidware partner created a customized single dashboard monitoring view that combines Stratusphere UX deep, detailed workspace metrics with key, selected other data from networks, firewalls, servers and other systems.

Optimization

Stratusphere UX offers integrations with ServiceNow and Microsoft PowerBI. In addition, the solution provides a powerful API builder which the Liquidware partner leveraged in order to create a user-friendly interface. This interface displays drill-down views and user scores in addition to other required data for proactive monitoring to prevent issues.

Results

With over 40,000 physical desktops to manage, the school district now has visibility to not only infrastructure systems, but also the quality of user experience. It now has a powerful solution to maximize uptime, minimize login times and to ensure consistent productivity uptime for staff and students.
